[Created for the 2022 GMTK Game Jam]

Description

Align same face dices in order to score points. You can align them in Rows/Columns/Diagonals.

The dice faces are being randomized automatically by the board so be careful what dices are in the positions that are going to be randomized.

Goal: High Score

Note: You were supposed to play against an AI, highest score at the end of the timer winning the game but unfortunately the AI stopped working close to submissions end.




Controls

  • Keyboard:

WASD/Arrows - Move around the board

Space - Select/Swap Dice

  • Mouse:

Left Click - Select/Swap Dice

It took me a bit to fully understand what is going on, especially because of the second field (which I now know is supposed to be the AI). 

But after I got the hang of it I had fun. 

But I think that the game does miss a bit of depth, it seems that the optimal strategy is pretty clear once you know what is going on :D

Thanks a lot for the feedback! We were actually looking into adding more depth to the gameplay but unfortunately there was as much time during the jam.
